You are eligible for blood screening if you have: 
  • Been on a gluten-containing diet for at least 12 weeks prior to testing
  • Close family member that has celiac disease or Type 1 diabetes
  • Related autoimmune condition, e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, MS, Addison's 
  • Digestive problems, chronic fatigue, osteopenia/osteoporosis
  • Down Syndrome
  • Other related symptoms or conditions  
   
To register, visit the Contact Us page on the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center website, choose "Blood Screening Registration" as the "Reason" for contact, and include the following in your email:
  1. Number of persons in your family to be tested
  2. Their ages
  3. Why they should be tested
  4. Whether or not they are currently on a gluten-free diet
